About
Ensemble Geschichte is a Berlin-based trio dedicated to one of the world's oldest forms of entertainment - storytelling. Their signature Musical Readings are exactly as they sound - great literature, read aloud, and accompanied by chamber music for flute, violin, and cello.
Stories give meaning to our lives and shape our memories. Each one of us forms a narrative version of events that we repeat in order to make sense of our world.
When it comes to literature, a well-written story opens our hearts and minds, inviting us to imagine new perspectives. A great concert can do the same.
Ensemble Geschichte leverages the power of both arts to transport listeners to a new (or old) reality, and to remind each of us that sometimes, a change in perspective is everything.
Ensemble Geschichte:
Liz Talbert, flute; Lydia Paulos, cello; Katrina Zosseder, violin
Ensemble Geschichte is an affiliate ensemble of the 1781 Collective.
